Temu Review

Hey, Guys!  I’ve had a few moms ask me about Temu as they are hesitant to purchase.  I wanted to share my experiences as I have purchased several times in the past 6 months.

So, I decided to try Temu out around Halloween since we go all out with multiple costumes, which they really only wear once or twice before I either get rid of it or it becomes a piece of dress up clothes in the playroom.  I found some of the cutest costumes at so much less than what would have paid through another online retailer!  I have also purchased a lot of hair clips for the girls and some cute ornaments for their personal Christmas trees in their bedrooms.

My girls rocked their Halloween costumes for trunk or treats and in the actual night.  Now, I’ll admit, I’ve purchased many Halloween costumes for myself throughout the years and they are usually pricey for the thinnest materials and they usually are a size small - even when I wasn’t plus sized, it was hard to find store bought costumes that looked good.  These costumes arrived (not quickly like they would have from another retailer) and they were a good material.  They fit well and looked great!

The girls wear clips in their hair pretty much everyday and shortly after fixing their hair, they take them out.  I have tons of clips floating around my house, my car, and their school bags.  Other times, they are just lost.  So, if I can find cute clips that I’m not upset when they don’t return home, I’m good with that.

I will say that not everything has arrived in great condition.  It’s crammed tightly into a bag that has traveled pretty far to reach me.  Sometimes hair clips or ornaments arrived broken.  After a quick visit to the Temu app, a credit was applied to my account.

Kids grow so quickly and only wear some clothes once or twice, so I don’t feel bad about saving money here or there.  I also highly recommend ONLY using a credit card when purchasing from Temu or anywhere online.  Side note:  Temu will send you text messages and emails trying to get you to purchase.  They’ve also been known to drop the price of items that put in my cart, but do not buy.

As when buying anything online, read all the details and double check the measurements.  I recently purchased cute storage bags, which I thought were going to be more sturdy and I purchased a cute hanger for the back of the door to store hats and gloves in, but the pockets were much smaller than I thought they would be.  I have not tried to return anything to Temu, so I don’t know how easy/difficult that would be.
