My Social Book - Review

Confession - I have not printed a picture since Jenna was born (3 years)! I have been meaning to catch up on the family photo album, but … life! Need I say more??

I have been seeing ads popping up on my Facebook for My Social Book, so I decided to give them a try.

Pros: I only had to connect my Facebook account - it did the rest! Everything was in posting order. Very easy! I like that they have a section where they put my most liked pictures together. You can include a video - it puts a code beside the picture and you can watch the video on your phone.

Cons: I could not edit everything. Some posts were included in the book that I would have liked to take out, but I could not preview every page. I could not edit how the pictures were centered, so some of my images were cut off. There were empty pages that I didn’t understand. Oddly, the pictures are all together with the Facebook post after them. That didn’t flow well to me. This only links to one account, so my husband will need to purchase one as well if we want the pictures he’s posted - plus, any pictures that didn’t make the social media “cut” will need to be printed, sorted, and put into yet another album - or uploaded and printed in another album on another platform. Essentially, we will wind up with 2 or 3 photo books for 2023. Customer service : I emailed them twice with a couple of concerns about the positioning of pictures with no response.

Overall: Again, super quick and super easy, but I like having more control over something (especially when it’s not super cheap)! I will probably try another service next time.
