First Visit to Bass Pro Shops - Acworth, GA

We ventured up I-75 today with the girls and stopped in at Bass Pro Shops. Neither I nor the girls had ever been. I went looking for a waterproof heavy winter coat for an upcoming trip I have to Iceland (I’ll post about that later), which I did not find. However, I was in awe of the size of this place and everything it had in it.

The animal and water feature in the back immediately caught Jenna’s attention, so she had to go investigate. It was difficult to explain that these animals were real and that they used to be alive. They spent a lot of time around the aquarium and wanted to walk the whole store to look at everything.

I was amazed at how much they had for kids there: outdoor doll sets, stuffed animals, a baby section with loveys, blankets, and rattles, and inflatable ball pit boats to name just a few. The girls wanted everything! Jessica asked for a bass boat and ATV that were out front. We said no. However, they came home with stuffies, candy, and key chains with their names. The hubby even found himself a few clearance items to take on our Iceland trip.

As Jessica took her stuffy upstairs tonight, she said she really liked “that place we went to today.”
